A quick recap from our weekend at Kjula! 🏁
Unfortunately, there was no new personal best this time.
The gearbox decided it wasn’t really in the mood to cooperate… and at almost the exact same second the car stopped on track, the sky opened up and delivered some proper Swedish sideways rain. Perfect timing! 😂🌧️
We rolled the car back into the pits to figure out what had happened and found that the gear cable had stretched. We replaced it, crossed every finger we had, and hoped the gearbox had survived the drama.
Sadly… it hadn’t. 💸😅
So that was the end of our racing for this event. Not exactly the weekend we had planned, but hey — that’s racing! Sometimes you set a personal best, and sometimes you just set a new personal best for how quickly you can break things. 😂🔧
Now we’re already looking ahead to next year! The plan is to take the car to an event somewhere in Europe, and Eijvor will also make her comeback at Kjula after taking a well-deserved rest year. 🚗💨
