The first race of the season didn’t go as we wanted 👎🏻
We broke a tooth on the intermediate shaft in the gearbox.
Now we hope that PPG can deliver the parts we need quickly so we can get the car together for the next race at KJULA DRAGWAY 2.0 in 4 weeks.

Between the work on the customer cars I have had some time to do things on our Drag Evo. I have mounted the new mechanical fuelpump, cleaned and checked the injectors, fuelsystem, polished the rims and mounted new M/T ET DRAG slicks. Just start it up and check everything, then it’s race ready. The plan for the first race is in 3 weeks.

It's been a long time since there was an update but a few things have happened.

HPT 8280 its mounted on our Drag Evo.

I had to change the gearbox housing also.
It was leaking oil and there was a crack that couldn't be repaired.

The new gearbox housing is water blasted and looks great 👌🏻
I also installed the billet 1-2 shift fork from White Shed Speed in my PPGdogbox 👍🏻

We have upgraded our fuel pump to a MagnaFuel pro outlaw 1000 mechanical fuel pump for our Drag Evo. We are installing the old red Aeromotive on Eijvor. Both of our cars need more fuel now 😀

For the 2025 season, we tried a turbo that was supposed to be an absolute dream for Eijvor… but reality had other plans – it blew up during the last race at KJULA DRAGWAY 2.0. Oops.

So now we’re giving a warm and cheerful “hello!” to HPT Turbochargers on Eijvor as well!

Our Drag Evo has been upgraded with an HPT 8280, and the old HPT 7880 has now moved over to Eijvor.

The result? Both of our cars are now running with proper high-quality turbos!

And a big shoutout to Rolo at HPT – top-tier support and expertise that truly makes a difference.

At the last Kjula event, Eva’s driveshaft decided to call it quits!

After endless (and sometimes questionable) attempts to free the yoke from the transfercase— with zero success— a couple of teams all around the pit joined the rescue mission.
😂

In the end, a truly creative solution saved the next day.

We in the AE-Performance team would like to thank EVERYONE who has contributed to this fantastic season.
But this has been Eva's season, she has driven, broken the car and Alex has repaired.

Eva has delivered PB almost every race event.
The last race ended with a new PB for Eva of 8.89s at 1/4, which we are super proud of.
Alex has a little less driving time, because we have prioritized Eva's driving.

This season Alex plan was going to start from the beginning with the tuning of his car. Alex went 5.5s at 1/8 with much less boost than full boost, It was very promising.
But the last race the bracket to the mechanical fuel pump broke. We repaired but there was a lot of rain.

This season started in absolutely the worst possible way, a good friend and teammate suddenly passed away. We have mourned and supported each other, but Nisse would never let us park the cars this season, then he would have been upset up there.
We had no choice but to deliver!

So with the emotions outside the body, the first race was carried out, very unusual without Nisse, but we solved it, thanks to Alex's fighting spirit in the garage, good driving by Eva and us in the team.

Next season we will be ready again with both cars, aiming for better times and having a lot of fun, we are a big family with kids and friends, everyone contributes in their own way ❤️
