Except that I’m really pi**ed off about the Chevelle just sitting in the shop, this might have been the worst week so far this year!… 😏
Reason is that pretty much everyone I been talking to or seen at the shop have asked me if we are going to Tierp this weekend!… When I told them no and that the car won’t leave the shop at all in 2026 they have just looked at me like they have seen a ghost or something… They all like “but this is your life” and well, I can just agree! And that’s the reason I’m pi**ed also, and will be until the car leaves the shop!… I hate stuff that just sits around like junk, things like that is better to sell instead!… There is no meaning having a race car just sitting in the shop, that’s just dumb!… 😑
But even that we’re not at Tierp racing this weekend, me and Peter are doing something racing related at least! 😂 The boring part of the racing circus…
But at least this is getting made like we talked about in September or so when we found all the moisture issues on the trailer…. What we are doing right now can only be made during the summer when the weather is good because I don’t have a place to keep the trailer inside. And no trailer = no racing again….
The great thing is that Peter thinks this is fun (the boring part that needs to be made so we can go to a race track again) he enjoys working with glasfiber and polyester and I really hate it! 😂😂😂 So that makes us a great combo! 💪🏻👌🏻
And I can say one thing, if Peter wouldn’t join the team in 2026 and I would have been the one to take care of this myself… This would have for sure been the end for Sjödin Motorsport / ÅBM Racing!… 🙄
If we are going to a race track again in the future, make sure to say thanks to Peter! ❤️
