Wallmek i Kungälv AB was started in 1978, producing and designing special tools for car repairs. Wallmek stands for idea and design of tools, up to delivery of a complete product to the customer. Our products are in the segments of chassis tools and liquid handling equipment. The Wallmek research and development department works in close cooperation with automotive workshops to ensure the best pos

sible productivity, ergonomics and health. We are very good at designing hydraulic tools that enable repairs directly on the car, handling of fuel when tank repairs are necessary and to make drainage systems for car dismantlers. Today Wallmek is developing tools directly for car manufacturers, the aftermarket and garages. For the car dismantling industry, we develop tools for draining all liquids from the cars to make them environmentally decontaminated. As the company continues to expand, we are now also involved in customer segments like trucks, trailers and constructions machinery. 🔧 Rear wheel bearing replacement made easy.

The rear wheel bearing is replaced directly on the car without time consuming dismantling. This bearing is a 92 mm compact type, also called HBU 2.1 or generation 2. Improper installation can damage the bearing before the vehicle even leaves the workshop.

GENERATION 3 WHEEL BEARINGS - EXTENSIONS SET
Bolted-on bearings (Often used in aluminium knuckles but are also frequently used in steel knuckles). The small tolerance in combination with long guiding into the knuckle causes huge problems after some years when removing the bearing.

To avoid damaging and to avoid removing the wheel knuckle use the following tools: Disassembly/pressing out (takes approx. 10 minutes, leave the driveshaft in place)

✔ Remove bearings in approximately 10 minutes
✔ Leave the driveshaft installed
✔ Reduce dismantling time

Gen 2 - Extension kit. Tools for wheel bearing replacement.

Compact wheel bearings (HBU 2.1) have been installed in millions of vehicles since 2002 and are widely used by manufacturers including Ford, Volvo, Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and many others.

Heavy-duty ball joints? No problem. 💥
In this video, we’re pressing out a seized ball joint on a BMW X5 2012 using our new tool 04-00028-100 — developed for the tougher jobs modern workshops face every day.
EVs, hybrids, SUVs and light trucks often come with larger, heavily seized ball joints and long steel tapers mounted in soft aluminium knuckles. Hammering directly on the components can easily cause damage.
That’s why 04-00028-100 is designed to:
✔ Support the steel sleeves inside the aluminium knuckle
✔ Press out the tapered pin safely and controlled
✔ Handle larger applications with extended reach
✔ Allow additional hammer force directly on the tool’s press piece only

Front wheel bearing set for commercial vehicles (02-00015)👇✨
The bearing set makes it possible to replace the wheel bearing directly on the vehicle with significant time reduction. No wheel alignment is needed. Used with cylinder 01-00030.

This type of wheel bearing will get damaged on the inside if pressure is applied on the hub during mounting. Instead use 01-00033-020 to reach around the hub and apply pressure directly on the bearing.
