🇳🇴 Rudskogen Motorsenter, Norway 🇳🇴

Finally, after several scheduling conflicts, we were able to be there in person as Embla Larsson competed in AquilaFormula 1000 at Rudskogen.

A day to remember — incredibly rewarding, educational and, above all, great fun to be part of the atmosphere at the track. Having the coach on-site made it possible to support and encourage the driver throughout the event, while also gaining valuable insights and experience from being part of the Aquila enviroment.

We’re already looking forward to being present at more events in the future and continuing to support Embla throughout her race journey 🏁

SUMMARY

SENIOR CATEGORY

Round five took us to Kalmar, where changing weather created another demanding race weekend.

The team steadily improved throughout the event, finding better pace as the weekend progressed. Jonathan qualified P12, Winston P20, and both drivers moved forward during the heats.

The Final came down to a tyre gamble between slicks and wets. We chose slicks, which proved to be the right decision.

Jonathan Marcusson fought his way into the top ten and secured a strong P10 finish.

Winston Hellegren showed excellent pace despite racing with an injury. While running ahead of Jonathan in the Final, he was unfortunately forced to retire due to the injury.

DD2 CATEGORY

Guest driver Tommy Roxström Johansson worked with the team to improve the kart setup throughout the weekend. Progress was made, but several racing incidents prevented a stronger result and ended with a DNF in the Final.

Another valuable weekend with plenty of lessons learned and positive progress. Every race moves us one step closer to the front.

Next stop: Gelleråsen, Karlskoga, where we'll compete in Rotax Senior and welcome Karl Larsson for our Rotax E10 debut.

Until next time, stay safe, flat out, over & out 🎙

SUMMARY

SENIOR CATEGORY

Round four brought us to Järfälla, the shortest circuit on this year's championship calendar.

While the results were below expectations, the weekend provided valuable data and confirmed several setup directions that will strengthen our future race weekends.

Jonathan Marcusson showed strong pace throughout the event and had the potential to fight much further up the order before race-ending contact in the Final.

Lukas Strand continued his positive development throughout the weekend but unfortunately also suffered a DNF in the Final.

Ralf Norell narrowly missed qualification for the Final after finishing P7 in the B-Final, with only six drivers advancing.

Although the results were disappointing, every race is an opportunity to learn. We leave Järfälla with more knowledge, improved pace and a clear direction heading into the next round.

Next stop: Kalmar. 💪

Until next time, stay safe, flat out, over & out 🎙

SENIOR CATEGORY:
A massive weekend for the team and one of our strongest overall performances so far.

Jonathan Marcusson achieved his best career result with a P5 finish after starting P9. Jonathan fought inside the top positions throughout the race and was battling for the podium until the final corners of the last lap. An outstanding performance showing huge progress in racecraft and confidence.

Winston Hellegren delivered his best career result as well, climbing from P25 to P14 in the Final with an impressive 11-position gain.

Ralf Norell fought through a turbulent weekend but managed to qualify from the B-Final into the main Final, where he climbed through the field to P26 with competitive pace.

Lukas Strand also showed strong progression throughout the weekend, fighting his way up to P25 and continuing to build confidence and speed race by race.

JUNIOR CATEGORY:
Another important learning weekend for Milo Weldeborn in Rotax Junior. As a debutant, Milo continues closing the gap to the field and was now fighting within the same tenths as drivers ahead around him. A very positive development curve and great progress once again.

CADETTI CATEGORY:
Another podium finish for Kian Karlsson! 🏆

Kian showed excellent speed and consistency throughout the entire weekend, improving session by session and securing another P2 finish for the team with a very mature performance.

Overall, every driver showed strong progress throughout the weekend and the team continues taking important steps forward.

Until next time, stay safe, flat out, over & out 🎙

Changing weather conditions can challenge any driver at any level. But when you think you've seen it all, the weather decided to pull a trick on us all!
Sun --> Light rain --> Sun --> Hail --> Sun --> Snow --> Sun ☀️🌦🌤🌧☁️🌨❄️🌞

Jack and Lukas had a rough race day overall, very much like a roller-coaster. Jack did a solid qualification, but didn't extract the value from the qualifying races due to unfortunate collisions in front resulting into front fairings (5s penalties).
However, almost like a fairytale story, he managed to pull it through and finished on a solid 12th place out of 48 drivers in the Final.

Lukas had a steep hill to climb this race weekend. Apart from the rapid changing weather conditions, he had his first race with the Intrepid chassis and a new engine. By not being fully prepared, testing had to be made on site. Unfortunately, Lukas didn't manage to qualify to the finals, and therefore didn't start the final race (DNS). We will continue to evaluate the data and prepare Lukas for the next race with more knowledgeable input.

- JUNIOR CATEGORY:
Second race in Rotax Junior for Milo. As a debut, he fought in each round to prove himself and surely he did! Driving slicks on wet condition in the qualifying heats (unfortunate call from the team as the weather changed from rain to sun to snow in a matter of 10 minutes, he managed to end on a 20th position in the finals.

- CADETTI CATEGORY:
Rainy conditions = Kian speciality!
Kian drove his kart very well, overtaking others with finesse and handling his kart without a single spin like many others in his category. A special effort was made by the team to setup the chassis, and boy it went like a rocket on the wet condition. Combing the driving by Kian and a solid setup, he finished on the podium again!

Until next time, stay safe, flat out, over & out 🎙
