Trackday vs. Scuderia Hanseat Driver training?

Trackdays are great. They give you freedom, seat time and the joy of driving the Nordschleife. But if your goal is to truly develop your driving, in the safest and most rewarding way, our structured driver training at Scuderia Hanseat will take you further.

The simple logic is this: If you already knew exactly how to improve your pace, you would likely already be driving faster.

Our role is to elevate your understanding of what actually creates progress. We guide you step by step, whether it is about line and flow, timing and precision, or refining the details of your driver inputs.

You are always a part of a group but everything we do is 1-2-1 coaching based on your experience, skill level, ambition, and the car you drive.

WE ARE INTERNATIONAL, YET PERSONAL

In our Spring Course, drivers joined us from 17 different countries. In Autumn, that number grew to 20 countries, from all over Europe and North America.

Scuderia Hanseat is truly international, but what defines our courses is how we bring people together.

That’s why we form groups based on language – German, English, and Scandinavian. It makes it easy to connect, share stories, and build friendships that often last well beyond the event itself.

This is a natural part of our WIR philosophy.

ARE WE ANY GOOD? - We always ask participants for feedback, and based on our 2025 surveys, we feel that we are on the right track.

Our Net Promoter Score is almost at 90, the average across our key metrics is around 9 out of 10, and more than 90 % of participants plan to return.

HIPWIR is our unique philosophy to safely develop your driving. It stands for How to Improve Pace Without Increasing Risk.

It reflects how we think about driver development. Rather than chasing lap times, the focus is on flow, timing, and making good decisions at the right moment. It is also about building you understand and respect for the Nordschleife in the very best way.

It’s a mindset that runs through everything we do on track. We believe in "Safer is Faster"

Scuderia Hanseat is as much about CAMARADERIE as it is about driving. Meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and sharing the experience together is a big part of what makes our events special.

Our 1 + 3 day format creates time for exactly that. From the first coffee in the morning to the evenings spent together, you stay with your group throughout the event, all 20 drivers, three instructors, and your coach.

Our unique WIR philosophy is also about how we behave on track. It’s not about me, myself, and I, but about us together. Showing respect for each other creates a safer, calmer environment where everyone can focus on learning and enjoying the driving.

That’s what we mean by WIR, we together.

DRIVER DEVELOPENT IS PERSONAL. No two drivers arrive with the same experience, ambition, or expectations.

That’s why coaching at Scuderia Hanseat is always individual. Our instructors and coaches work one-to-one with each driver, meeting them at their current level and adapting guidance as they progress.

All coaching is focused on individual needs, taking into account skill level, the car you drive, and your personal ambitions. This allows each driver to focus on what matters most, whether that’s refining technique, improving flow, or building confidence at higher pace.
