𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗟𝗦𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿!

I got a full score at the last race in Falköping. Such a fun track with a huge wall but the weather offered us a curveball and it was a mud race mixed with astro sliding. A lot of cleanup work the day after but also a lot of fun racing in these conditions.

With that win I secured the total win in the cup and this was my eight straight win in the cup, even if it changed name last year.
This concludes my racing season, I might do another fun race meetup before I pack up the LS car and start looking into indoor 1/10 racing.

Last I want to reflect over my new platform for this season, the VRmodelsport Phoenix. It has really been a super stable and solid car. No surprises, nothing breaking, easy to work on and just very predictable and well behaved on the track. Just what you want from a car. Feel like this is a very solid car for the coming years in my race program. Thank you for your support Romain Valter, the team is the best and really enjoy being part of it!

On the power end I have been using RN Tuning Modelsport's engines for three years now and they just continue to deliver. After having som carburator problems in the first race of the year I've had zero engine problems. Even during the hot weather in Starec I had no over heating problems what so ever. I have been using the RV-Racing 305 Pro engine for the last two years and I might continue with that or try the RV320 Pro engine. The Powergrip clutch with 1.8 springs and a combination of carbon and aluminium shoes has been perfect setup on all tracks.

The final race in the Swedish Large Scale Cup. Can be a wet story. Superfun track with a great wall and many tricky parts. Just my kind of track! 🤩

A little late race report from the last race in the Swedish LSOR in Slottsbron, back on Swedish soil again.

The race went really well with a full point score and my VRmodelsport Phoenix car deliver without any problems and so did the RN Tuning Modelsport RV 305 Pro engine together with the RV-Racing powergrip clutch. I’m really happy with my current setup and let me focus of the racing on the track.

I visited the Swedish Nationals for eBuggy and Nitro in Tomelilla to just meet people and watch some good racing. The track was really nice and looked fun to race, I talked to many drivers who really enjoyed it. Great work from the club!
I arrived to see the third and deciding A-final in eBuggy that was a very close and exciting battle between David Ronnefalk and Oscar Berg, they had one win each. David's wing was loose and caused big problem in the hard winds but he managed to take the win in A3 and therefore secure the total win.
I watched the Nitro semis and the LCF which Filippa Plyhm managed to win from P8, what a great drive!
Unfortunately I didn't have the time to stay for the A-final in Nitro but congratulations to Hampus Berg for the win and David Ronnefalk in second.

If there would a competition in who is the slowest to post their Large Scale Offroad race report from the EFRA championship in RCA Stařeč I will probably take that price!
Having being on vacation, being sick and posting all the awesome photos (I still have some more) has taken time from writing it all up.

I have now taken my time to summarize the week that had some ups and downs. It's no secret I was very disappointed in now making it to the semi finals. But there is so much other positive stuff to take away from it. My P8 from the first qualifier or P16 after the quails I'm definitely happy with. It's puts me where I want to be.
But as usual it's always all the other stuff that in the end matters the most, all the meetings, talks, people you only meet at these races (even from all around the world, hello Callan Gunn), fun conversations, having a good b**r, enjoying a great track, talking RC, spying on prototypes, watching good racing and the whole experience.

Compared to my other Euros where I have constantly had to wrench on my car this time my VRmodelsport Phoenix car worked awesome without any problems, so did my RN Tuning Modelsport RC Racing 305 Pro engine even in the hot temperature. That together with the Powergrip clutch kept the power to the ground. Romain Valter and Rinus Visser offered excellent support during the whole event, this is really what you want and need at a big event like this.
So that was a new experience to focus more on the racing than the wrenching! 🙂

The last class as per racing schedule, 4wd. Unfortunately as this is the same class I race I have not from so many different heats and cars from this as I was racing and preparing my own car as the other heats were going on. But I hope you will like the ones I took even if your car is not one of them.
