The 2027 Dodge Durango is now only available with a V-8 engine, and the 360-hp version has a starting price of just $45,670.
The R/T 392—with its 475-hp 6.4-liter V-8—starts at $52,985, and the 710-hp supercharged Durango Hellcat starts at $82,490.
The GT Hemi represents the Durango's entry point, and it's powered by a 5.7-liter V-8 that makes 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive are standard, with the base trim starting at $45,670. Sure, that's nearly $3000 more than last year's all-wheel-drive base model, but it was powered by an uninspiring 295-hp 3.6-liter V-6. If that's more your speed, check out rivals like the Honda Pilot or the nonhybrid Hyundai Palisade. But if a V-8 sounds great, the Durango is a better date, and the GT's higher trims offer fancier features. The Plus and Premium start at $49,270 and $52,270, respectively. For 2027, the Durango GT receives a new Brass Monkey package that includes distinct fender badges and special 20-inch wheels.
The Durango R/T 392 packs the powerful 6.4-liter V-8, good for 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The admission fee starts at $52,990, but it rises to $56,590 for the Plus trim and $59,590 for the Premium. Not only is the Plus version new for 2027, bringing a nappa leather interior, more power seat adjustments, memory settings, as well as heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row seats, but there's also a new Blacktop Redline package. The latter includes available racing stripes, forged 20-inch wheels, a lower front splitter, and suede interior materials.
For power-hungry Durango shoppers, the SRT Hellcat is the only thing capable of quenching their thirst. Behind its grille is the eponymous supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. The last version we tested ripped to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and cleared the quarter-mile in 12.0 seconds at 115 mph. If you wanna try for yourself, that'll cost you at least $82,490. Dropping another $995 unlocks the Jailbreak package, which includes countless customization options, including myriad paint options, interior colors, wheel designs, and even seating configurations.
