Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is a time to raise awareness, share knowledge, and support those affected by breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon is recognized worldwide as a symbol of breast cancer awareness, hope, and solidarity. It represents support for those affected, honors survivors, and helps encourage important conversations about prevention and early detection.

At MAHLE, we believe that awareness can make a difference. Early detection saves lives, and open conversations help break down barriers and encourage prevention.

Throughout the month, teams across MAHLE are hosting initiatives to create space for meaningful dialogue about breast health.

Today, we stand together with everyone affected by breast cancer, survivors, those currently in treatment, and the loved ones supporting them every step of the way. 💗

Because no one should have to face breast cancer alone.

Say hello to our newest members of ! 💙🙌

106 apprentices and dual students started their journey this September, joining us from 11 locations across Germany.

To kick things off, they came together in the Swabian Alb region as part of the MAHLE Onboarding Weeks. From team-building activities and networking opportunities to learning about our culture and values, the program created the perfect foundation for a successful start.
And of course, one tradition couldn't be missed: the canoe tour! 🚣💪

🌍 Life Abroad as a Global Career Starter Program Participant

What is it like to gain international experience as part of the MAHLE Global Career Starter Program (GCSP)?

Join Yiwen for a glimpse into her daily life in Valencia, Spain, where she is supporting Product Management for E-Compressors within the Powertrain & Charging business unit. Working closely with colleagues from different functions, including Purchasing and Controlling, she is gaining valuable insights into products, processes, and cross-functional collaboration while building a broad understanding of the business.

One of the highlights of Yiwen’s international assignment has been the opportunity to work hands-on with innovative products alongside experienced technicians. From exploring new technologies and workflows to building connections across teams and locations, every day offers new opportunities for professional and personal growth. 📈

For Yiwen, one of the greatest benefits of the GCSP is the chance to gain international work experience, learn from a dedicated mentor, and explore different departments through a well-structured rotation plan. Join Maximilian for a glimpse into his daily life in Shanghai, China, where he is currently completing his international assignment at MAHLE. From collaborating with colleagues in a global office environment and gaining insights into cost optimization projects to experiencing local culture and everyday life in one of the world's most dynamic cities, this assignment offers valuable professional and personal growth.💼

As a trainee in Product Cost Improvement, Target Costing & Benchmark, Maximilian works on analyzing cost-saving potentials, supporting optimization projects, and helping to create sustainable value across the organization. The international assignment also provides the opportunity to gain new perspectives, build a global network, and better understand regional differences within MAHLE's worldwide organization.🤝

One of the highlights of the GCSP for Maximilian has been taking on responsibility early in his career, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and experiencing a different culture and working environment firsthand.✈️

🌍💡 International Youth Day

Ever wondered how a wind tunnel works?

Over the past few years, several generations of apprentices have contributed to recreating the Climatic Wind Tunnel in Feuerbach as a functional miniature model. Now, the project has finally been completed.

From design and construction to electronics and PLC programming, our apprentices developed and implemented many solutions independently, transforming an ambitious idea into a fully functional model that simulates the key functions of the real facility.

This International Youth Day, we're proud to celebrate the creativity, dedication, and problem-solving skills of our young talents. 🚀

🏃 Running Together, Growing Together!

At this year’s AOK Corporate Run Stuttgart, around 100 MAHLE colleagues came together to show what makes our team special: collaboration, motivation, and a shared passion for achieving goals together. 💪

Over a distance of 6 kilometers, our colleagues gave their best, encouraged one another, and enjoyed an evening filled with energy and team spirit. Whether running for a personal best, fitness, or simply for the fun of being part of the team, everyone contributed to making this event a memorable success. ✨

Women in Engineering – Sharing Knowledge, Driving Impact 💙

Meet Aldona Szymczak. She started her journey at MAHLE as a Production Quality Engineer, working with international customers. Driven by curiosity and the ambition to shape processes from the start, she moved into Project Quality to gain deeper insights into product launches and preventive quality.

🌍 Today, as European Look Across Coordinator, Aldona connects plants across Europe by sharing critical insights, solutions, and best practices — helping teams react faster and learn from each other.

Aldona values the continuous learning culture at MAHLE, from cross-functional experience to becoming a certified VDA 6.3 process auditor and pursuing postgraduate studies in Project Management & Team Leadership. Besides that, she has also started to work as an IATF 16949 internal system auditor. Thanks to visiting plants across the EU, she is also able to share best practices, learn from others, and get to know different cultures🚀

With years of experience in engineering, she highlights the importance of staying curious, building strong networks, and confidently contributing your perspective.

Balancing her career with family life, Aldona shows that growth in engineering and personal priorities can go hand in hand. 💪
