📢 Important Information for Our Customers

As of June 1, 2026, a new Regional Usage Tax (TUR) has come into effect in the Autonomous Region of Madeira and is mandatory for all vehicle rental contracts, in accordance with Regional Legislative Decree No. 7/2025/M.

The tax is €2.00 per vehicle, per rental day, up to a maximum of €20.00 per contract (10 days).

We apologize for only sharing this information now. We chose to wait for the official confirmation and final guidance from the relevant authorities to ensure that we provided our customers with accurate and definitive information.

Please note that this tax is legally required, applies to all car rental companies operating in Madeira, and is paid entirely to the regional authorities.

If your reservation does not already include this charge, the applicable amount will be added to your rental agreement when the vehicle is delivered.
