In 2024, I traveled back to my home country of Bangladesh after five long years, only to discover that all my diecast collections and many personal belongings had been stolen. My parents and brother were unaware of what happened to my valuable diecast items, as they never showed interest in what I loved or cared about deeply. Every time I spoke to my mother from abroad, she reassured me, saying all the cars were safely stored in the ceiling cabinets of their room. But when I arrived, I found nothing—my rare JDM collections and super treasure hunts were gone. It seems that local relatives, possibly a known collector, along with security guards, were involved, leaving me feeling hollow forever. Despite everything, life moved on, and so did I, but now I no longer collect for myself—only to sell. My passion for the hobby has died inside.
