One of the followers asked me about fuel high pressure pump 1.6L hpi engine fitted on Citroen C4.
Yes, true we are facing a lot of problems because of this pump, but you should take into account few diagnostic procedures before replacing the pump. In most of the cases you will not see a fault in regard to the pump, but you will sea at least two faults about missfiring (cylinder 1 & 3 for example)
So, next thing to do is to check- using diagnostic equipment- the fuel pressure value in relation to the reference value, the normal pressure on idle speed should not be less than 30 bars.
