Mid-engined, 6-cylinder, turbocharged two-seater. Larger and faster than 900. A surprise could-be competition for Porsche 959.

The SAAB 999 was an unreleased concept car from the 1990s.

Originated during the Group B golden era, it aimed to enter the stage alongside other European makers.

The Turbo variant was meant to be fitted with 400hp, 2.1 liter turbocharged engine.

'The Missing SAAB' as it was called, never seen the light of day, and it only remains in our imagination.
