🔧 Part 2 – Bodywork & Rust Repair: Pure Craftsmanship 🔩

As with many restoration projects, the real condition only becomes visible after disassembly. This 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser Cabriolet already showed signs of damage on arrival, but once we stripped it down, the extent of the rust and panel deterioration became clear.

We used no aftermarket panels. Every piece was restored using expertly handcrafted sheet metal, carefully shaped to match the original lines of the vehicle. Damaged areas were cut out and replaced with precision, resulting in a finish that is indistinguishable from factory original.

🛠️ Every step of this process has been thoroughly documented. We believe it’s important for our clients not only to see the final result, but to also understand where the car started and how it was brought back – step by step, with passion and precision.

This phase marks a major milestone in the restoration. With the foundation now solid and true to its heritage, we’re getting ready for the next chapter: paintwork and long-term preservation.

🚗 Toyota Land Cruiser Cabriolet 1985 – Arrival & First Steps 🇳🇱➡️🇵🇱

This Land Cruiser arrived at our workshop after being personally picked up in the Netherlands with our enclosed transporter – safe and secure all the way to Poland. The car came as a bare shell, no engine, no wheels – just pure potential waiting to be brought back to life.

To handle it efficiently, we mounted the body on a custom mobile frame, as you can see in the photos. This made it easier to move around the shop and begin the restoration process with care.

The biggest issues were in the metalwork – heavy rust and completely rotten panels. We’ve taken extensive photos throughout every stage to show not just what we found, but how we fixed it. Because once the car is painted, you’d never know how far it’s come — and that’s exactly the point.

🚗✨ Scirocco MK2 53B GTX z 1985 roku przeszedł kompleksową renowację blacharską oraz został pokryty nowym lakierem w kolorze biała perła.
