Mentoring is one of the most effective forms of learning and development. For many years at FEV, we’ve been sharing knowledge naturally. Today we also run a mentoring program not only to support knowledge sharing activities but also to recognize experienced employees and their commitment. 🚀
We asked our employees' what was the main motivation for them to become a Mentor and those are some of the answers:
· Willingness to share knowledge and experience, 🎯
· Curiosity to prove themselves in this role, 🏅
· The opportunity to be an example for younger colleagues, 🤝
· Real impact on improving the teamwork: "Only in a team can you be stronger, so sharing knowledge should be natural for all members." 📈
One of our Mentors mentioned:
"I have a passion for sharing knowledge, both the lessons I have learned and the experiences I have gained. I find fulfillment in offering guidance and, equally, I appreciate the opportunity to get a fresh perspective from those I mentor."
Mentoring is not only value for Mentors but also for the whole organization. According to one of our Managers:
“It contributes to a positive team environment, increases productivity, builds a stronger and more cohesive team. What is important in mentoring - it offers numerous benefits not only for mentees but also for mentors: personal satisfaction, enhanced leadership skills, personal and professional development, recognition and reputation within the organization."
Our Managing Director says:
"Mentoring is not only an efficient way of sharing knowledge and spreading good practices. It also brings people together by strengthening personal relations. At the end, it is important to know there is somebody ready to help you in all circumstances."
We are proud to have so many great mentors who are willing to share their knowledge and engagement. 💪
