Minor Facelift 2026 BEV ONLY
Deepal S05 Minorchange 2026 has officially gone on sale in China, bringing meaningful upgrades to suspension, technology, interior equipment and driver assistance.
Exterior design remains largely unchanged, but gets redesigned DRLs, blue indicator lights showing when automated driving assistance is active, silver lower-body trim and new alloy-wheel designs.
Major suspension upgrade: All variants now receive FSD + HRS Advanced Variable Adaptive Suspension as standard.
FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) continuously adjusts damper stiffness according to road conditions, improving the balance between comfort and body control.
HRS (Hydraulic Rebound Stopper) uses hydraulic control to reduce harsh rebound movement over broken or uneven roads, helping make the S05 smoother and more stable, particularly over rough surfaces and on longer journeys.
New driver instrument display: Deepal has added a small dedicated instrument screen behind the steering wheel instead of relying entirely on the AR-HUD as in the previous model.
Steering wheel has also been redesigned.
New Nebula Purple interior option combines purple and light-colored materials for a more premium cabin appearance.
Rear AC gets an important improvement: the previous single rear outlet is replaced by dual adjustable vents, allowing independent left/right airflow adjustment.
Infotainment receives a major upgrade: 15.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen running Deepal OS 4.2.
DeepSeek AI integration adds more natural conversational voice commands and AI-based interaction.
9 Cabin Mood modes are introduced, changing displays/effects according to different driving or cabin situations.
50W wireless phone charging with active cooling is included, while wired charging supports up to 60W.
LiDAR is introduced on the S05 for the first time, substantially expanding the hardware available to its intelligent driver-assistance systems.
The article covers two BEV powertrain versions — 520 and 620, both RWD with a 200 kW / 272 PS electric motor.
S05 520: 56.16-kWh LFP battery, 520 km CLTC range, 0–100 km/h in 6.28 sec, top speed 185 km/h.
S05 620: 68.82-kWh LFP battery, 620 km CLTC range, 0–100 km/h in 6.48 sec, top speed 185 km/h.
Both support 3C fast charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in around 15 minutes.

Important for your S05 REEV: this particular article only provides specifications for the BEV 520/620 models. It does not confirm an updated 2026 REEV powertrain/battery specification.
The most interesting upgrades if they eventually reach the Pakistan S05 REEV would arguably be the FSD + HRS suspension, LiDAR, driver instrument cluster, dual rear AC vents and upgraded 2.5K infotainment system.
