📣📣 WE ARE HIRING: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
PERA Fuel Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of PERA Multipurpose Cooperative (PERA MPC). It operates under the brand “Gusty Shone”, with four branches currently operating across Mindanao with a tagline “Let’s Fuel the Nation with Gusty Shone!".
As part of a growing network in the oil and gas or fuel industry, we are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our fuel operations and drive business growth.🌟🌟🌟
Job Purpose:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Gusty Shone branches and all its departments. This role ensures alignment with the company’s organizational goals and objectives while driving business performance, customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
What Are We Looking For?
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field
✅ Preferably with a Master's Degree or MBA
✅ Must have at least five (5) years of managerial experience in the oil and gas or fuel industry
✅ Proficient in financial planning, budgeting, inventory management and cost control
✅ Proven experience in sales growth, business expansion and brand building
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
Primary Job Accountabilities:
🔶 Leads the departments and the day-to-day operations of all Gusty Shone branches to ensure operational efficiency and consistent customer experience
🔶 Enforce strict compliance with fuel industry regulations, company policies, operational manuals, brand standards, and system protocols
🔶 Lead, mentor, and evaluate station heads and area supervisors to build a disciplined, high-performing operations team
🔶 Prepare and manage operating and project budgets, including cost control and profitability monitoring per station
🔶 Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with corporate goals, network expansion, and sales growth
🔶 Scout, assess, and recommend new station locations based on market demand, site viability, regulatory requirements, and ROI
🔶 Address operational issues, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across stations and support functions
🔶 Monitor the competitive landscape and engage in industry activities to identify opportunities and operational best practices
🔶 Prepare and present regular operational and performance reports to the President and Board of Directors
Work Location:
🏓 Head Office at San Francisco, Agusan del Sur (w/ frequent travels to Gusty Shone Branches)
Work Schedule:
⏲️ Full-time | Monday to Saturday (Flexible)
Salary Range:
💸 P40,000 - P50,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
