📣 MOST WANTED CAPTURED! High-Ranking Fugitive Arrested for 2 Counts of R**e 📣

Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) under the steadfast leadership of PCOL RONAN R CLARAVALL, Provincial Director remains steadfast in its commitment to combat all forms of illegal activities across the province. Guided by its oath to serve and protect, NOrPPO continues to uphold peace and order with utmost dedication, ensuring the safety and well-being of every community in Negros Oriental.

Through the intensified implementation of Oplan Tracker, personnel of Sibulan Municipal Police Station successfully arrested a Most Wanted Person ranked No. 4 at the Regional Level, No. 3 at the Provincial Level, and No. 1 at the Municipal Level for two (2) counts of Simple R**e.

The operation took place at around 12:01 PM on August 20, 2025 (Wednesday) in Barangay Poblacion, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. The arrest was carried out by the Oplan Tracker Team led by PCPT JOSE EDROHIL C CIMAFRANCA, Officer-in-Charge, along with PSSg Julius Caesar T Fausto and Police Auxiliary Jerry A. Cabug.

The accused was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued under Criminal Case Numbers 2025-31093 and 2025-31094, with no bail recommended. The warrants were signed and issued by Hon. Angela Charina Mendoza Cortes-Garces, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 33, Dumaguete City. During the arrest, the accused was properly informed of the nature of the charges against him, as well as his constitutional and statutory rights, including anti-torture provisions, in a language he clearly understood.

This successful operation highlights the unwavering commitment of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, in bringing wanted criminals to justice and upholding the rule of law.

P10.2M halaga ng shabu, nakumpiska sa buy-bust operation ng Dumaguete City PNP

Aabot sa mahigit P10.2 milyon na halaga ng pinaghihinalaang shabu ang nasabat ng kapulisan mula sa isang lalaki na target sa buy-bust operation na isinagawa sa Brgy. Bajumpandan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental nitong ika-14 ng Agosto 2025.

Kinilala ni Police Lieutenant Colonel Don Richmon Conag, Acting Chief of Police ng Dumaguete City Police Station, ang suspek na si alyas "Franklin", 41-anyos, High Value Individual, residente ng Barangay Buntis, Bacong, Negros Oriental.

Dakong alas 10:19 ng gabi nang isinagawa ang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba na naging dahilan sa pagkaaresto sa suspek.

Nakuha mula sa suspek ang 15 pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na nasa 1500 na gramo at may Standard Drug Price na Php10,200,000.00.

Bukod sa droga, nakuha din mula sa operasyon ang isang keypad na cellphone, sling bag, pouch, at buy-bust money.

Mahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Ang naturang operasyon ay isang patunay ng walang humpay na pagsusumikap ng kapulisan sa paghuli ng mga drug personalities, bilang bahagi ng mas malawak na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga.
