Another successful repair at Anton Automotive Repair Shop!

A customer brought their Mitsubishi Mirage to our shop after seeing us on Facebook. The concern was a persistent Check Engine Light related to the oxygen sensor. The sensor had already been replaced at another shop, but the problem kept coming back.

After thorough diagnosis and deep troubleshooting, we tested the old original oxygen sensor and confirmed that it was still in good condition. We removed the replacement sensor and reinstalled the original sensor.

Upon further testing, we discovered that the real culprit was a weak battery causing low voltage supply to the oxygen sensor, triggering the Check Engine Light.

This is why proper diagnosis is very important β€” not all fault codes mean the part itself is defective.
