Effective July 1, 2025, the government will begin implementing Republic Act No. 1224, also known as the Capital Markets Efficiency Promotion Act (CMEPA). The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will now impose excise tax rates on our Isuzu Dmax based on the manufacturer’s or importer’s selling price.
This is a government-led initiative aimed at improving the country’s fiscal health and national development. As a brand that FULLY SUPPORTS the long-term progress of the Philippines, we stand behind this law and remain committed to responsible business practices that align with nation-building.
We currently have available inventory at the current pre-tax pricing, but only while supplies last. Once these units are sold out, new stocks will be subject to the full excise tax—and prices will increase accordingly.
