A lot of people think a regular car wash is enough, especially when the car is still relatively new.

This Lexus ES350h looked clean at first glance, but the paint already had bonded contaminants and the glass had visible acid rain marks. That’s the part most people miss: a car can look shiny and still have contamination that a normal wash won’t remove.

Over time, those contaminants can make the paint feel rough, reduce gloss, and contribute to staining and long-term surface damage. Acid rain marks on glass are another common issue that many owners mistake for ordinary dirt or water spots.
