This 30-year-old Honda Civic EG came in for something simple at first; we were just supposed to install the wing. But once we started fitting it, we immediately noticed something was off. The alignment wasn’t right, and that’s when we found out the roof had already been swapped before.
From afar, you could already see that the rear section of the car wasn’t lining up properly, and from there, one problem slowly led to another. The car ended up staying with us for almost a year, not because we wanted to drag the process out, but because we corrected everything that needed alignment and repair.
The car already came in yellow, but we wanted to give it a yellow that would stand out more from the rest. Something cleaner, louder, and more unique to the build. Along the way, we also repaired and refreshed the carbon fiber wing and front chin, polished the mags and exhaust, and even cleaned up the engine bay.
We also repainted the engine bay without removing the whole engine. We only removed the side components so we could properly paint the inside while still keeping everything clean and detailed.
This build honestly became more than just a wing install. It turned into one of those projects where you slowly bring the whole car back together piece by piece, and now it finally looks the way it deserves to.
