When a Ford Ranger 2.0 Bi-Turbo diesel needed its injectors checked, the job was deemed impossible by another workshop. One injector was badly seized, and they decided not to proceed.

The owner brought the vehicle to Central Diesel, where our specialized tooling and know-how made the difference. We successfully extracted the seized injector without damage to the cylinder head.

Our injector flow testing revealed all units were out of specification, with the stuck injector showing a damaged piezo electric actuator. Since these injectors are non-repairable (for now), we are fitting a complete set of genuine, brand-new assemblies.

Here's something we don’t see every day—an originally military-spec'ed Humvee. Not the civilian Hummer.

Just look at it beside the Hyundai Starex; the sheer footprint shows its purpose-built, go-anywhere design.

We got up close to understand what work needs to be done. Powered by a V8 diesel engine for maximum torque and reliability. We’re now researching parts and technical specs to build a restoration plan so that we can bring it back to its original glory.

Maybe a future project? We’ll keep you updated. For now, we’re just fascinated by the classic, vintage, -military level: won't break down- engineering.

This week, our workshop saw two Gen 3 Mitsubishi Monteros with the exact same issue: excessive black smoke at speed.

Our expert diagnostics pinpointed the cause: an intake air leak that lead to extreme carbon buildup in the turbocharger.

Here’s how we solved it:
✅ Parts Replacement: We sourced and installed original parts to seal the intake system.
✅ Turbo Revival: We performed a deep clean of the turbocharger and its internal turbine vanes using Revive Turbo Cleaner.

With the repairs complete, both Monteros are now running cleanly and powerfully, and have been happily released back to their owners.
