Tips for driving

Before moving your car into another lane or making a turn, follow the simple MSM routine: Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre. 🚗

First, check your IRVM (Inside Rear-View Mirror) to understand what is happening behind you. Then check the appropriate ORVM (Outside Rear-View Mirror) to see vehicles approaching from the side and check your blind spot if needed. 👀

Once it is safe, signal clearly and early to tell other road users what you intend to do. Wait for a safe gap, check again, and then move smoothly. Never rely on your indicator alone. Mirror → Signal → Check → Move. Drive safely! 🛣️

Driving a manual car becomes easier when you follow the correct sequence. First, adjust your seat, mirrors, and steering position comfortably. Press the clutch fully before starting the engine and select first gear. Release the handbrake when it is safe to move. Slowly lift the clutch until you feel the biting point, then gently press the accelerator while continuing to release the clutch smoothly. Once moving, accelerate gradually and change to higher gears according to speed and road conditions. When slowing down, brake smoothly and select a lower gear when necessary. Always check mirrors, signal properly, and maintain a safe distance.

The 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (MNDC) received today a copy of 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟰𝟰𝟰, issued by the 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮ñ𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 , declaring 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆) as a 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in the 17 LGUs of the Metro Naga Development Council in celebration of the 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹.
