Statement
In lieu of the incident today wherein our student accidentally hit parked motor vehicles in the parking lot of GT MallPavia, we are releasing this statement to give light to what happened.
In the afternoon of September 9, 2025, our student was finishing her session with our instructor from her on-road/highway course.
Upon entering the parking lot of GT Mall where our driving school is located, the client experienced hypertension and shortness of breath thus accidentally stepping on the accelerator.
Our trained instructor stepped on our secondary break and engaged the hand break but was a little too late as our client almost passed out because of her experience.
Let it be known to public that despite the incident, the management has done its part in ensuring the safety of our student and instructor.
After taking our student to the mall clinic where our driving school is located, she was evaluated and cleared.
Settlement to all damaged property is currently ongoing.
We request the public to please not ridicule or embarrass the student, the instructor or the management especially in social media as novice student drivers all have their fair share of things to learn, thus, enrolling in driving institutions like ours.
It is important to note that accidents are bound to happen when on the road.
Our student will be continuing her driving lesson and we are optimistic that this incident would shape her to become a better driver once she finishes her course.
We assure the public that KThird Driving School, its management and instructors are well equipped with all the necessary training and tools to produce safe and defensive drivers in line with what the Land Transportation Office mandates.
