Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines heads to Batangas Racing Circuit for Race 3 of the 2026 season, marking the first time the championship has raced at the iconic Rosario, Batangas venue.
Known for its long, technical layout, fast sections, heavy braking zones and 20 corner challenge, BRC is a very different proposition from the familiar surroundings of Clark International Speedway.
That made this weekend a real reset for the grid. Some drivers already have experience at BRC, but for many of the Tamaraw OMR drivers and first timers on the grid, every corner had to be learned, tested and adapted to the character of the track.
And that is exactly what made this round refreshing.
A different circuit brought a different rhythm to the championship and gave us a new look at how the Tamaraw OMR cars perform outside their usual territory. Hopefully, this is not a one-off.
With only one final leg left at Clark, the 2026 season is heading into its closing stretch. Despite the delays and changes along the way, the Tamaraw OMR has shaped up to be one of the most interesting additions to the TGR Philippine Cup this year.
One more race to go.
