The safety and peace of mind of our customers have always been key priorities for BYD Philippines and its distributor, ACMobility.

Guided by our service philosophy of “Customer First, Safety First,” we are initiating a service campaign for Shark 6 DMO to upgrade its Spare Tire Lifter Assembly.

As a precautionary measure, we recommend the following for existing Shark 6 DMO owners.

1. If you have previously removed and reattached your spare tire, we recommend removing the spare tire from its hub. Instructions for removing the spare tire can be found in the Shark 6 DMO Owner’s Manual.

2. If you have never removed your spare tire, no action is needed at this time. Please expect a BYD Dealer Representative to contact you once the updated part becomes available. The BYD Dealer will replace the Spare Tire Lifter Assembly with an updated design, free of charge.

For further inquiry and assistance, please contact your preferred authorized BYD dealership or BYD Customer Care at (02) 7758 1888, available Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM or e-mail [email protected] for after-hours inquiries.
