Today, I went to Naga Airport to pick up Glitter after a 3-day rental. Before leaving, our regular client handed me a pack of bukayo, a local handmade delicacy made from young coconut, sugar, and coconut milk.
It was such a simple gesture, but one that meant so much to me.
He remembers us whenever he comes to Bicol and needs a ride to his hometown. And after returning the car key, he said something that I will carry with me always.
“I have been renting from you since then.”
Then came the words that felt like a little sprinkle of dream dust, something so simple yet so magical to hear.
“Sana lumago pa ang negosyo nyo.”
I thanked him sincerely, right there and then.
It may have been just a passing remark for him, something kind to say before leaving. For a small business owner like me, those words meant so much more. It was a wish for our growth, a hope for our future, and a reminder that the little things we do are remembered by the people we serve.
Sometimes, encouragement comes in the simplest forms. A pack of homemade delicacy. A familiar client who keeps coming back. A recommendation to someone who needs our service. Or a few sincere words wishing our business well.
And today, I am reminded that Raya Car Rental Services is not built on transactions alone. It is built on trust, relationships, and people who choose to come back to us.
