GWM Philippines just shattered its monthly sales record, delivering 262 vehicles to local buyers in September 2026. It marks the brand's highest monthly total since its local debut, eclipsing the short-lived record of 232 units set only a month prior in August. This rapid acceleration pushes the carmaker's year-to-date volume to 836 units.
“Back-to-back record months tell us the demand for the Haval H7 is real and lasting,” said Dax Avenido, Brand Head, GWM Philippines. “Filipino buyers are choosing a capable, well-built plug-in hybrid SUV that fits how they actually drive. What matters most now is consistency, and sustaining this momentum through the rest of the year.”
Driving the explosive growth is the newly introduced GWM Haval H7, a plug-in hybrid SUV that has fast become a crowd favorite among local motorists. The appetite for the hybrid is so high, in fact, that it has left local dealerships struggling to keep up with the inflow of orders. To cut down wait times, GWM is currently restructuring its vehicle distribution, cooperating closely with its dealer network to fast-track allocations and clear the remaining backlog before the year ends.
