Here's a Typhoon Car Care Reminder from Ford Otis, Manila!
Before, during, and after a storm, keep these simple car-care tips in mind:
✅ Park in a safe, elevated area away from flood-prone roads, trees, and weak structures.
✅ Check your battery, tires, wipers, lights, and brakes.
✅ Keep an emergency kit and enough fuel in your vehicle.
✅ Drive only when necessary and slow down on wet roads.
❌ Never drive through deep or moving floodwater.
❌ Never restart an engine that has stalled in floodwater.
❌ Don’t assume 4WD/AWD makes your vehicle flood-proof.
🔧 After the storm, have your vehicle inspected if it was exposed to flooding or sustained damage.
