The Vuelta a Bohol 2026 officially opened on May 1, launching Day 1 of the three-day non-competitive endurance cycling event held May 1–3, 2026, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), led by Governor Aris Aumentado.
A total of 112 cyclists departed at 5:00 AM from Modala Beach Resort, taking on routes designed to test stamina while showcasing Bohol’s natural beauty. Day 1 featured 99-kilometer (corto) and 199-kilometer (largo) routes traversing Panglao, Bilar, and Loboc.
Checkpoints were established at Banban Elementary School, Mayana Strawberry Farm, Motor Ace Carmen, and the Bohol Man-Made Forest, with a water station in Jagna.
Day 2 will pass through Panglao, Dauis, Tagbilaran, Loboc, Bilar, Batuan, Balilihan, and Sevilla, while Day 3 will cover Cortes, Maribojoc, Loon, Calape, Tubigon, and Balilihan.
Anchored on the Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap, the event promotes fitness, camaraderie, and tourism, reinforcing Bohol’s identity as a UNESCO Global Geopark.
