Here’s a look at the refreshed Nissan Kicks e-Power in its VL variant form, priced at an introductory Php 1.649-million. Previously the top-spec variant, it now takes the position as the subcompact crossover’s middle variant.

The VL adds a couple of upgrades from the now entry-level VE, including “triple arrow” LED daytime running lights in front, a 12-inch NissanConnect infotainment screen, six-speaker audio system, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, parking sensors and 360-degree camera, and blue and gray stitching on its black leather seats.

This is the new entry-level VE variant of the refreshed Nissan Kicks e-Power, available for an introductory price of Php 1.499-million.

The VE takes the place of the former base EL variant. Despite being the most affordable variant in the lineup, it still gets a good amount of standard equipment such as all-LED lighting, the same 17-inch wheels as higher trims, leather seats, a nine-inch Kenwood infotainment screen, and automatic climate control, and a complete suite of advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS).

After previewing at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last June, the electrified subcompact crossover’s heavily refreshed version has finally arrived in our market, now coming in three variants with the following intro prices:

- Kicks e-Power VE: Php 1,499,000 (SRP: Php 1,549,000)
- Kicks e-Power VL: Php 1,649,000 (SRP: Php 1,699,000)
- Kicks e-Power LE Plus: Php 1,749,000 (SRP: Php 1,799,000)
