Car makers usually design cooling systems around everyday driving conditions. Traffic, highway cruising, occasional overtaking, and normal day-to-day use. But once the car starts seeing repeated hard acceleration, spirited driving, mountain roads, towing, track days, or long drives under load, transmission temperatures can start climbing much higher than what they normally experience.
So bakit naglalagay ng dedicated transmission oil cooler?
Kasi heat is one of the biggest enemies of automatic transmissions.
What happens is:
→ transmission fluid gets hotter
→ transmission fluid gradually loses effectiveness as temperatures rise
→ shifts can become less consistent

A dedicated transmission oil cooler adds additional cooling capacity outside of the factory system. Instead of relying entirely on the stock cooling arrangement, the transmission now has its own additional heat exchanger helping control fluid temperatures.
