This Labor Day, Caltex Philippines shines a spotlight on the dedication of its customer service representatives (CSRs) nationwide, whose daily commitment ensures Filipino motorists receive world-class service. For Caltex, every act of service—no matter how routine—carries a deeper purpose when performed with integrity and passion.

One such story is that of Alkindar J. Amil, a station supervisor in Zamboanga City. Inspired by his late father, a pedicab driver who taught him that “no job is too small, as long as it is honorable,” Alkindar has spent eight years serving motorists with humility and perseverance. His efforts recently gained attention online when he explained fuel price fluctuations to customers, earning praise for educating the public while embodying Caltex’s values of patience and respect.

Meanwhile, Henry John T. Abonero, who joined Caltex Magallanes earlier this year, takes pride in wearing his uniform as a symbol of honest service. From ensuring accurate refills to maintaining station cleanliness, Joseph has earned customer appreciation for his thoroughness. He recalls patiently explaining the risks of misfueling to a hurried motorist, who later thanked him for his guidance. For Joseph, every interaction is an opportunity to help customers drive safer and longer journeys.

Chevron Philippines Inc. General Manager and Country Chairman Pongtorn “Bon” Tangmanuswong expressed gratitude to Alkindar, Henry, Joseph, and thousands of CSRs across the country. “Thanks to them, refueling has become a more valuable experience for our customers.
