Colossians 3:23 — KJV
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
1. Work with all your heart.
Whatever task is given to you, do it with excellence—not halfway, not only when someone is watching.
2. Work for the Lord.
Your work may have a human boss, but ultimately, your attitude and effort are also an offering to God.
3. Be faithful even when nobody sees.
True character is shown when there is no recognition, praise, or reward. God sees your effort.
4. Don’t work only for approval.
People may not always appreciate what you do. Don’t let that stop you from doing your best.
5. Excellence requires sacrifice.
Growth doesn’t come from talent alone. It comes from discipline, consistency, effort, and a willing heart.
6. Your attitude matters.
The same job can be done with complaining or with gratitude. Choose to work with a positive and faithful spirit.
💡 Lesson for a Worker
“Don’t ask only, ‘What will I get from this job?’ Ask, ‘How can I honor God through the work He has given me?’”
When you work faithfully, consistently, and wholeheartedly, God sees the effort—even when people don’t.
