BYD Atto 2 is officially rolling out in the Philippines with three distinct variants: the DM-i Dynamic, DM-i Premium, and EV Premium. With reservations now open, the subcompact crossover offers buyers flexible powertrain options, featuring plug-in hybrid technology for long-distance travel and pure electric driving for daily commutes.
The Atto 2 gives prospective buyers choices across both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) setups. The DM-i Dynamic and DM-i Premium variants both pair a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor, yielding an impressive combined range that can reach over 1,000 kilometers. The DM-i Dynamic serves as the entry point without the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), while the DM-i Premium comes fully equipped with the DiPilot safety suite, a larger 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen, and bigger 17-inch wheels. Alternatively, the EV Premium variant delivers a pure electric experience, powered by a larger Blade Battery setup that supports both AC and DC fast charging for maximum convenience.
BYD Cars Philippines is currently keeping the exact figures under wraps while reservation books are open. The official price list and introductory promo offers will be formally announced on its local launch day, July 28, 2026, during an event at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City.
