ATTENTION: to all of my DMD multicab clients and friends‼️
IF YOU FIND YOUR CAR ALREADY FLOODED:
1. Do not start the engine.
Trying to start it can cause severe engine damage if water entered the cylinders.
2. Disconnect the battery (if it’s safe to access).
This prevents electrical shorts or fires.
3. Assess how deep the water reached:
Floor only: minor electrical and interior cleaning.
Seats or dashboard: serious damage likely; call a professional mechanic.
Over dashboard: the car may be totaled.
4. Document everything.
Take photos/videos of the exterior, interior, and waterline.
5. Call the company ASAP.
Tell them your car was flooded and ask what to do next.
6. Dry out the interior.
Open all doors and windows, remove floor mats and seats if possible, and use fans/dehumidifiers.
