Among the CRAZY things I did, when I first bought the Nissan Escapade, which was NOTED to OVERHEAT when used as a UV EXPRESS PASSENGER VAN, was to Experiment RUNNING it (the ENGINE) W/O THE MAIN COOLING FAN. BUT, it is still absolutely necessary to have cooling fans for the Aircon & Oil Cooler especially during Prolonged Idling, when engines do not benefit from incoming air.
After Treating the Engine with XADO CERAMIC - METAL TREATMENT, a good practice is to RE-TIGHT HEAD GASKET & HAVE A TUNED UP for the CORRECT VALVE CLEARANCES all ACCORDING to Vehicle MANUAL, not according to the mechanics even how experienced they maybe.
When at Alabang NISSAN Center, after doing his jobs of Retighting & Tuning, the assigned mechanic was so annoyed when asking me, SIR, WHERE IS THE COOLING FAN? I said, I INTENTIONALLY TOOK IT OUT !!! WHY ??? TO SAVE ON FUEL, but also to eliminate the very disturbing noise created by the cooling fan beneath our front seats.
Principle: HEAT is ENERGY. So why COOL Engine Down ? Why the COOLING SYSTEM ?
The Greatest Proof Engines are DESIGNED TO WASTE ON FUEL !

The scenario was not without being noticed, before I realized it, all the other mechanics, including the Service Managers/Advisors where all over the vehicle SEEING FOR THEMSELVES, FIRST TIME A MIRACLE was happening. The engine was running very Smoothly, almost no Vibration, SO Quiet and ZERO EMISSION. My engine to this day still Survived the supposed Tortures serving Manila - Mindanao Routes with Maximum load the TIRES could possibly handle. But please allow me to explain how it is possible to run without cooling fan, without overheating.
I guess it is best to start with asking, what are the FACTORS that contribute to heat of an engine in operation?
1. Frictional Heat. Oil ONLY partially Reduces Heat, BUT OILs DO NOT ELIMINATE Frictional heat because of the Roughness, Imperfection of Metal Surfaces. Oils act more of a COOLANT, absorbing heat to be dissipated.

3. When RPM is REDUCED, due to Increased Power, huge benefits will accrue.
A) Volumetric Efficiency, the actual volume of Air entering the engine is at Maximum as it gives more time for engine to breathe air. RPM is inversely proportional to Volumetric Efficiency. TURBO & SUPER Chargers DO Help.
B) REDUCED RPM means reduced Loads/Losses/Compression Heat.
C) Fuel Burning Efficiency. The HIGHER the RPM is, the shorter the time FUEL is allowed the opportunity to burn. Burning of fuel is ONLY at Power Stroke. At 3,000 RPM, Engine Rotates at 50x/second. Power Stroke is 1/100th of a second. At 6,000 RPM, it's 1/200th of a second. The Higher the RPM, the more fuel is thrown & wasted to the Exhaust.
Combustion Engineering Principle: If fuel molecule is made 1/100th smaller, burning rate is 10,000x faster. Square of the Diameter !
4. Better Engine Compression Pressure utilizes Fuel more Efficiently thus requiring LESS FUEL, Less fuel to burn means LESS HEAT to absorb.
5. Not enough Atomizing Fuel and less Compression Presure/Heat will increase IGNITION LAG. As such FUEL tends to accumulate and EXPLOAD (Detonates), which rather should EXPAND gradually, producing excessive heat, engine noise with LESS POWER. Power Trasmission is rather slow.
The usual push to Piston Downward is about 800psi, with Detonation, the pressure is about 5,000psi pressure causing a VERY DESTRUCTIVE KNOCK (SOUNDWAVE) enough to break the Piston, Ring, Valve, Bearing, excessive heat, Crankshaft at worst causing Rods to come out of engine block.
6. For LOW QUALITY Fuels, like we have in the Philippines, there can ONLY BE TWO CONCRETE/SCIENTIFIC SOLUTIONS which is "A MUST" be understood: your author Most Respecfully Submits.
A) Must Treat fuels to increase quality, burning rate & protect high pressure fuel pump system.
B). INCREASE ATOMIZATION OF FUEL.
PRINCIPLE: Fuel that did not COME IN CONTACT with HEATED Air WILL NOT BURN !
Increased Atomization of fuel, thus increasing SURFACE AREA (Homogenous/Complete Mixture of Fuel & Air) can be achieved by INCREASING OPENING PRESSURES of Fuel Injectors. Your Calibration Centers can perform that. BUT Increasing Pressure, Increases WEAR too ! XADO "In-Placed Repair" ExtraOrdinary NANO Technology will address that WEAR.
