EV/ICE/HEV owners — one more thing to know:
If your car was pushed through floodwater rather than caught in a standstill, that distinction matters. Wading is driving through floodwater without stopping until you reach dry land and that's different from being stuck in traffic while water rises around you.
Coverage for wading-related damage depends on the specific circumstances of the incident, not a guarantee either way.
⚡ Don't attempt to charge your EV until it's been checked.
🔧 Don't attempt any repairs until it's been inspected by our Technical Assistant — this is required for your claim.
For next time it floods:
🅿️ Move your car to higher ground before the water rises, not after.
🗺️ If your area floods often, plan for it — don't wait for the water to decide for you.
Your safety comes first. Your car's protection comes right after and we're here to help you through both.
