PNG Dockyard is located in the nation's capital, Port Moresby, in the North Western corner of Fairfax Harbour, on Motukea Island; a 106-hectare World Class Prime Industrial Park now boasting a 150 metre by 70 metre International Wharf Facility. The Dockyard boasts a slipway with a 5,000 tonne lifting capacity by Wedge-Car for vessels of 130m on a 25m beam. A state-of-the-art transfer system allows

nine vessels to be serviced at one time. Multiple cranes for heavy-duty lifts, 150m repair wharf and a 100m lay-up berth provide watering, fuelling services and repairs. Underground service bays provide full reticulation of fresh and salt water, power and compressed air to each maintenance berth. With a qualified labour force of over 300 employees including expatriates and PNG nationals, the Dockyard has vast experience in marine repair, marine engineering and marine projects.
