🚨 ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE — ISUZU NPR RECOVERED! 🚛🔧

Another real roadside call answered by A Mechanical Service & Repair.

📞 12:00 AM — Customer called to report that their Isuzu NPR truck had broken down while travelling from Alotau towards Port Moresby.

⚙️ 6:00 AM — We had our diagnostic equipment and tools ready and hit the Magi Highway.
📍 The truck was located roadside at Gaire Village.

🔍 We carried out an inspection based on the driver's complaint, traced the fault and rectified the problem on site.

✅ Engine power restored
✅ Roadside repair completed
✅ Truck safely brought back to Port Moresby

Horsepower Restored!

This Mitsubishi 4M41 had been suffering from a power loss issue for months.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL REPAIR – Mazda CX‑5 Skyactiv 2.2L STARTING ISSUE FIXED

A customer contacted us after experiencing a starting problem with their vehicle.

A week ago, the vehicle was starting normally using the push-start button. However, last weekend the vehicle suddenly failed to start when pressing the push-start button.

After some trial and error, the owner bypassed the start relay, which allowed the engine to start. However, the gear selector could not shift, because bypassing the relay also bypassed communication between the PCM and BCM modules, preventing the system from operating correctly.

🔧 Inspection & Diagnostic Process

• Connected diagnostic scanner and retrieved freeze-frame data and fault codes
• Performed live data stream monitoring to observe electrical component behaviour
• Identified the fault during data analysis
• Carried out the necessary repair and reset the system

✅ Result: Vehicle starting system restored and operating normally again.
Modern vehicles like the Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv rely heavily on electronic module communication, so proper diagnostics is essential to avoid unnecessary parts replacement.

🔧 Mitsubishi Outlander 4G69 Engine – Timing Belt Repair Completed 🔧

Another successful repair carried out by A Mechanical Service 👨‍🔧

Mitsubishi Outlander
Model: CU5W
Engine: 4G69

The vehicle came in for inspection and we discovered the timing belt had snapped.

✅ Full inspection carried out
✅ Valve inspection performed – all valves in good condition
✅ Engine manually pre-cranked to check for unusual noise or internal damage – all clear
✅ OEM timing belt sourced and installed
✅ Timing reset following correct OEM specifications

After reassembly and testing, the timing reset was successful and the vehicle is now back on the road running properly. 🚗💨
