How did we sailed from Tuamotu to Marquesas
The Pacific ocean is so surprising. Usally the trade winds blow all year long from the east. But for this passage, we had north wind, then east, then ouest for 2 days. We avoid a huge storm that we've left on our stern. Most of the time we had good condition, no rain or nearly not, and just one day of no wind.
Arriving in Marquesas give us so much emotions... Imagine all this mountains after 8 months of flat land like Tuamotu.
We were so happy to arrive in the Tuamotus, and also so happy to arrive in Marquesas. Anywere we sail in polinesia is always an amazing place...
Now we are glad to show you more mountains until february if you follow us.
