Southpac Trucks Ltd Southpac Trucks is the importer of DAF, Kenworth & JAC trucks with 10 branches around New Zealand. Proudly NZ owned and operated.

Southpac Trucks Ltd imports DAF and Kenworth trucks manufactured by PACCAR in the Netherlands and Australia, the majority shareholder is The Colonial Motor Company Ltd, Wellington (CMC), who has been involved in the importation and retailing of Ford products since 1908. Southpac operates from eight locations, Manukau City, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Timaru. Southpac supports its customers via the TRP Parts and Service Dealer Network. Southpac parts distribution business is to support DAF and Kenworth customers along with a variety of TRP truck and trailer parts to enable the highest operating uptime at the lowest possible cost.

Congratulations to the Glide team on the official opening of your new oil re-refinery in Pukekohe.

A fantastic milestone for everyone involved, and a great example of Kiwi innovation giving used oil another life. By recovering base oil for use in new lubricants, Glide is helping keep a valuable resource in circulation here in New Zealand.

Congratulations to Dan Mitchell and Reuben Riethey of Auckland House Lifting on the delivery of this purpose-built Kenworth C509 house-moving tractor.

Designed to tackle some of New Zealand’s most demanding oversized transport tasks, this impressive unit is powered by a Cummins X15 Euro 6 engine producing 625hp and 2050 ft-lb of torque, paired with an Eaton RTLO22918B 18-speed manual transmission. Equipped with Meritor front and rear axles, Neway air suspension, and rated to an impressive 130 tonnes, this C509 is ready for the heavy lifting involved in the building relocation industry.

The truck features a custom Kentweld bullbar complete with driving lights, while an inverter system has been installed to power tooling and battery recharge systems on the job. The finishing touches include extensive stainless steel work and wiring completed by Southpac’s in-house engineering team.

The specialised house-moving tractor conversion was completed by TRT Hamilton, with signage by Cliff at Trucksigns, resulting in a striking and highly capable combination that is ready to go to work across New Zealand.

It's fantastic to see Dan and Reuben take delivery of this outstanding new Kenworth, and we wish the AHL Building Removals team many safe and successful kilometres ahead.

Congratulations to Simon and Danielle Buckeridge and Buckeridge Transport Ltd on the delivery of this impressive Kenworth T659 36" Aerodyne cab 8x4.

Based in Dannevirke and operating NZ wide, this sharp combination is powered by a Cummins X15-E5 620hp Euro 6 engine, paired with an Eaton Roadranger 18-speed manual transmission.

Coupled with a Transfleet Ltd alloy tipper body and a Transfleet 5-axle tipping trailer, the combination was finished off with custom cab striping by Rob Walker Painters in Masterton.

It is fantastic to see the proud owners standing with their new truck. Wishing you many successful kilometres ahead in "Aces to Keep".
