Oceania Marine is looking for an experienced Boat Builder to join us in Whangārei. This is a great opportunity to work on marine refits and repairs across a range of vessels – from ferries and fishing boats to catamarans, pleasure craft, and superyachts.

What you’ll be doing:

Structural and interior fit-out work

Hull and deck repairs (timber, composite, alloy)

Refits, modifications and marine construction

Working on-site with a skilled team across multiple trades

Who we’re looking for:

Proven boat-building or shipyard experience

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Reliable, punctual, and a solid work ethic

Comfortable working independently or in a team

Essentials:

NZ Residency or valid NZ Work Visa

Full NZ Driver’s Licence

Pay: Based on Experience (BOE)

Oceania Marine – Whangārei is on the hunt for an experienced Superyacht Painter to join our marine refit team. Work on high-end international superyachts, as well as various commercial and recreational vessels.

Your Role Includes:

Preparing and fairing yacht surfaces

Applying premium paint finishes to superyacht standards

Blasting, priming, and applying protective coatings

Collaborating with a skilled coatings team to deliver world-class results

What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrated experience in yacht or superyacht painting

Expertise in fairing and finishing techniques

Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently or within a team environment

Requirements:
