That’s a wrap on the Midtown Motors Bake Off, and what a competition it has been!

Taking out the top spot was Corey with his AMAZING sticky date pudding, homemade Caramilk ice cream and caramel sauce. 🤤🍨 A very worthy winner!

Lochie came in a very close 2nd place with Raj rounding out the podium in 3rd! 🥈🥉

Corey took home an awesome hamper packed full of kitchen goodies, generously donated by BNT Wanganui. A huge thank you to BNT for helping us make the competition extra special! 🙌

Well done to everyone who got involved, the standard of baking this year was seriously impressive! 👏🍰

🏆 THE FINAL MIDTOWN MOTORS BAKE OFF ENTRY! 🏆

To finish things off, Allan has brought us a delicious **Rum Fruit Cake with Rum Butter**! 🍰🥃

And this one is extra special , it’s his **great-grandmother’s recipe**, passed down through the family.

What a perfect way to finish our Bake Off! Good luck Allan! 👨‍🍳🤞

Tomorrow we will post our lucky winner who will receive our amazing prize pack donated by BNT Wanganui!

Next up in our annual Midtown Motors Bake Off is Corey! 👨‍🍳

Corey has pulled out all the stops with a delicious sticky toffee pudding, served with homemade Caramilk ice cream and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce.

That’s one seriously indulgent dessert! The competition is heating up, and we’re starting to wonder if our mechanics have been secretly training in the kitchen!

Well done Corey it was delicious! 👏

It was Lochie’s turn in the Midtown Motors Bake Off competition this week.

He came in as a strong contender with his delicious Oreo cheesecake and what an effort! 👏

For someone who doesn’t spend a whole lot of time in the kitchen, this was a pretty impressive achievement! 😋

Well done, Lochie! You definitely gave the competition a run for its money! 🏆🍰

This week was Raj's turn to enter the Midtown Motors Baker off. He went all out with a 10-hour smoked beef brisket, followed by a 4-hour rest period.

Served up with creamy coleslaw and fresh buns, it was definitely a serious contender.

And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another thing… dessert arrived! 🍫 Raj made a chocolate chippie log with a side of custard. 🤤

First up, we have Taylor bringing the serious competition with a chocolate self-saucing pudding, berry sauce & ice cream. 🤤🍫🍓🍦

After 10 years at Midtown Motors, it's time for me to sign out! 👋
From Kindy teacher to office extrodonaire, I've definitely learnt a lot about cars.

It's been an incredible decade of, juggling paperwork, keeping the office running smoothly and chatting with our amazing customers

I've decided to pursue an alternative career pathway (whatever that may bring) but I'll still be managing the business finances from home.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years. I'll miss seeing your friendly faces.

Today we mark an incredible 10 years of Midtown Motors Whanganui 🎉

Raj and Janine took over on 1st April 2016 with just one hoist and four jobs booked for the first week. With our third baby almost due, we took a leap of faith with a dream to grow something special and deliver amazing service to Whanganui.

Fast forward to today we’ve completed a whopping 25,703 jobs and now maintain close to 9,000 vehicles in our community.

We’re so grateful to every customer who has trusted us along the way, and to our awesome team who make it all possible. Here’s to the next 10 years! 🚗🔧
