September is Motorcycle Awareness Month.
With more bikes heading back out on the road, it’s a good time for all road users to sharpen up and look out for each other.
Before you ride:
🏍 Check your bike is road-ready
🧤 Check your gear and wear bright yellow or high-vis clothing to help you be seen
👀 Stay alert and ride to the conditions
🎯 Refresh your skills
And if you’re behind the wheel, keep an extra eye out for motorcycles. Take another look at intersections, check your blind spots and give riders plenty of space.
Whether you’ve been riding all winter or you’re getting back in the saddle for summer, a little extra awareness from everyone can make our roads safer.
