Last Friday, we had the absolute privilege of handing over a brand-new 2027 Suzuki RM-Z250 to Glenn. (He's a bit shy so wanted to be a little bit anonymous)

But this wasn’t just another new bike handover — this one has a very special story behind it. ❤️

Sadly, Glenn’s dad passed away earlier this year. He was a Suzuki man through and through, and Glenn wanted to do something in his memory that he knew his dad would have loved.

We’ll let Glenn tell the story in his own words:

“This RM-Z isn’t just a bike to me, it’s a connection to my dad.

Dad was a Suzuki man and there was always a Suzuki in our shed — mainly TFs, or the JR80 we learnt to ride on.

Sadly, Dad passed away at the start of this year. He always loved me riding, and in the early years he would take me out to rides before I could take myself. We had some great chats about where I’d ridden and what had happened out on the track.

My old man had a long history with Underwood & Wilkins and always got his bikes from them. I followed suit, but instead of Suzuki's, I always rode Kawasaki's — which made for some amusing yarns between Dad and me.

But now I have this very special Suzuki in honor of my dad. I’m looking forward to riding it, and I know he’ll be with me every time.”

Thank you, Glenn, for allowing us to be a small part of such a special tribute to your dad.

We hope your new RM-Z250 brings you many incredible rides, plenty of great memories, and that little feeling that Dad is right there riding alongside you. 💙

Enjoy every minute of it, Glenn. This is one bike that will always mean so much more than what’s written on the tank. 🏍️

We delivered a very excited Paul his new Yamaha MT07 today.
Paul couldn't wait to get on his new bike and hit the road. When we showed up he was in his gear and ready to go.
