That’s a wrap on the Mexted Motors Mitsubishi Heritage Day 2026!

Absolutely MASSIVE thank you to everyone!!!

Thank you to the vehicles/owners who braved the cold rain and wind in the early morning to put on this incredible showcase. The sun took charge just before midday and we ended up with a great afternoon of cars, food and community.

Thank you to all the staff who volunteered their Friday night and Saturday all for the passion of Mitsubishi and cars.

And thank you to all of you who came through and checked this all out! It is a huge sense of support and warmth seeing so many faces enjoy Mitsubishi vehicles as much as we do.

We will be uploading photos from the event early next week.

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF SAM HENDRIKS! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a fantastic milestone for Sam Hendriks, our Foreman here at Mexted Motors — 20 years with the team! 🔧👏

Back in 2006, the automotive world looked a little different. The Mitsubishi Outlander was new to the scene, the Lancer Evolution IX was turning heads, and Suzuki was building its reputation with models like the Swift. Two decades later, a lot has changed, but Sam’s passion for cars and mechanics is as strong as ever!

What started as an interest in cars and mechanics has grown into a great career and a genuine love for what he does. In Sam’s own words:

“An interest in cars and mechanics led me to this job, which has grown into a great career and love for what I do. Drive your ambition.”

Sam is a valued part of the Mexted Motors family, helping keep our workshop running smoothly across our Mitsubishi and Suzuki franchises. His passion for the industry also extends beyond work, with an impressive personal collection of special vehicles and a major role in organising our annual Mitsubishi Heritage Day.
