We get that servicing cars are dollars you try to avoid but we are also so happy to see you guys taking care of your cars!

Annual services are important in maintaining the longevity of your car and are often where we catch anything before it becomes a bigger issue.

T&C’s:
-This giveaway is NOT applicable to fleet vehicles or business maintained vehicles.
-Max value refunded is $600inc for service items only. This does not include extra procedures carried out at the same time eg. tyres, brake pads, repairs.
-Winner must provide their receipt on collection of refund, it will be stapled to your invoice.

Mitsubishi Heritage Day is happening and it’s just around the corner!

The annual event hosted by Mexted Motors, in conjunction with the Mexted Motors Spring into Tawa event, Mitsubishi Heritage Day is a celebration of all things Mitsubishi.

This year is a special one with Mexted Motors also celebrating 100 years of operation!

What to expect on 17th October 10am-3pm:

A huge range of selected Mitsubishis on display varying from the classics and icons to the performance and emergency vehicles.
We may even have a few special guest Mitsi’s…

Main Rd Tawa will be closed to allow for foot traffic with food/drink stalls lining the street and many different interactive features and stalls to check out and explore.

Here are some beautiful vehicles sold at Mexted Motors.

You may still see the Mitsubishi Diamante, Galant and V3000 out and about but as they’re fazed out by newer models they’re sadly slowly disappearing from the roads.

Fun fact:
The white Galant photographed was the final vehicle manufactured by Todd in Porirua before production closure in 1998. The number plate 514076 is a nod to the number of vehicles manufactured by Todd Motors in NZ.

1942 marked the landing of U.S. marines in Wellington NZ. In direct response, to the rising threat of Japanese expansion in the Pacifc, troops were deployed as a protective measure in case of invasion.

Mexted Motors(aka Mexted Service Station) was issued the formal order for civilian business to be legally overridden as the garage was requisitioned to serve maintenance and repairs on the military fleets.

The neighbouring gully was also used as testing grounds for the vehicles.

Unfortunately we have no photographic record of this phase of Mexted’s evolution, however shortly after requisition, Mexted Service Station expanded to include a dealership as well!
