The Ford Ranger alarm system got downgraded in March 2023:
- Tilt sensor deleted
- Volumetric sensors (cabin) deleted.

Another failed AVS alarm removed today. This was draining the battery and offered very little protection.

Fail points:
- Dead battery backup siren
- Rusted bonnet switch
- Both immobiliser cuts right by the ignition key
- Parasitic battery drain

An installer with integrity will tell you to avoid these alarms.
