🔧 Volkswagen Golf MK IV – Timing Belt & Water Pump Replacement

This Volkswagen Golf MK IV came in for a scheduled timing belt replacement. During our inspection, we found the water pump was leaking, and the customer agreed to replace it while everything was apart.

But here’s the surprise… once we removed the water pump, we discovered the impeller (turbine) had completely broken apart! It’s not something you see every day and shows why it’s always worth inspecting components thoroughly rather than just replacing what’s expected.

🔧 Range Rover Sport – Major Oil Leak Fixed at Southend Motors Te Aro

This Range Rover Sport came in for its routine service, but during our inspection we discovered a significant engine oil leak.

Our experienced technicians quickly identified the source as a failed oil cooler seal-a common issue on these engines. We removed the supercharger, replaced the faulty oil cooler and gaskets, then reassembled everything to manufacturer specifications.
