We’re Proud to Support Daffodil Day!!!!!!

You might have noticed that there are a few more daffodils, yellow flowers and Daffodil Day displays popping up around the workshop lately! 🌼

We’re really proud to be supporting the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day here at Waipu Motors.

Cancer touches so many families and communities, and being a small local business, we wanted to do our bit to help. We’ve got our Daffodil Day collection box right here in the workshop, and we’d love to see our Waipu community get behind it with us.

If you’re popping in for a WOF, service, repair, tyres or just passing by, come and say hello and drop a little something into the collection box if you can or scan the QR code. Every donation helps the Cancer Society support people living with cancer and their families, as well as funding vital cancer research.

- Every little bit helps.
- Every donation makes a difference.
- And every person who supports the cause helps make our community a little stronger.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – REDUCED CAPACITY TOMORROW

Due to a scheduled electricity outage in Waipu, we will be operating at reduced capacity tomorrow, Thursday 20 August, from 9:00am to 3:30pm.

We will still be open during this time, however some services may be limited due to the outage.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while the outage is in place.

We’ll be doing our best to keep things moving and will return to normal once power is restored.

Rain can reduce your tyres' grip on the road by up to 50%... and even more in heavy downpours.

A few simple habits can make a big difference when driving in wet weather:

- Slow down and allow extra travel time.
- Increase your following distance.
- Turn your headlights on so other drivers can see you.
- Check your tyres have good tread and the correct tyre pressure.
- Avoid sudden braking or sharp steering, smooth movements help you stay in control.
